For schools
Podcast and video studio
for schools
Open-evening, recruitment, and headteacher video for schools and academy trusts.
Why schools work with us
Schools need more video than ever — open evenings, Year 7 and Sixth Form recruitment, headteacher welcomes, and staff recruitment — but filming on site means working around lessons, noise, and pupils who have not given consent. Kent Content Hub gives your leadership team a quiet, professional set for the talking-head pieces, so the on-site filming can focus on the school itself.
What we make for you
Content formats that fit the sector
Headteacher and principal welcomes
Short filmed welcomes and vision pieces for the school website, prospectus pages, and open-evening screens. Recorded in one sitting, with retakes, away from the bell and the corridor.
Open-evening and admissions campaigns
Interviews with heads of year, the head of Sixth Form, and subject leads, cut into vertical clips for Year 7 and Sixth Form recruitment campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Staff recruitment films
Teachers and support staff talking about why they work at the school, for job adverts, the careers page, and trust-wide recruitment drives.
Trust and governance updates
CEO, chair of governors, and trust leadership updates for parents and staff, recorded as video or as a short podcast series.

Honest answers
The questions schools ask
Wouldn't it be easier to film at school?
For pupils and the building, yes, and you should. For leadership interviews, a studio is quicker: no bells, no interruptions, no corridor noise, and no pupils in the background who have not consented to appear. Most schools record several staff pieces here in a single half day.
Our budget is tight.
Hourly studio hire starts at £30 an hour, and a half day covers four or five staff interviews. Schools working with Social Media for Schools book at discounted rates.
Can pupils take part?
Yes, with written parental consent and a member of staff present throughout. Many schools keep pupil content to on-site filming and use the studio for adults only, which keeps consent simple.
Working in the sector
Compliance, accessibility, and sensitivity
- Parental consent for any pupil who appears, recorded before the session, and a member of staff with the pupils at all times.
- Safeguarding — no full names, uniforms with crests, or identifying details of pupils without explicit consent.
- Approval from the headteacher or trust communications lead before anything is published.
- Accessibility — captions on every clip, as most parents watch on mute on their phones.
