Audio Max Edit (£120/hr) includes everything in Audio Enhanced, plus professional editing by Hermes Digital — upload-ready audio in 3–5 working days, and social clips and audiograms so you leave with a full content package.

What is included in every session?

Every session — regardless of tier — includes full use of the studio, a RØDECaster Pro II mixer, 4× RØDE PodMic microphones, 4× RØDE NTH-100 headphones, Sony Alpha 6400 multi-camera video, LED ring lights, live preview monitors, a separate control and mixing area, and acoustic treatment. All equipment is set up and ready when you arrive.

Do I need to know how to use the equipment?

No. For Audio Only sessions, we provide a technical induction at the start so you can run the recording yourself — it is straightforward. For Audio Enhanced and Audio Max Edit, a dedicated technician handles everything from setup and sound checks to live monitoring, so you can focus entirely on the conversation.

Can we record video as well as audio?

Yes. Video recording is included in every session. The Sony Alpha 6400 multi-camera setup covers multiple angles and is available in all three tiers, so you can record podcast-quality audio and broadcast-quality video simultaneously.

Can remote guests join our session?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Virtual guest integration is included in the Audio Enhanced and Audio Max Edit tiers. Remote guests can join with synced audio and video so they appear alongside in-room participants seamlessly.

When do we receive our files?

Raw audio and video files are available for download on the same day as your session. If you have booked the Audio Max Edit tier, edited audio is typically ready in 3–5 working days, and video production including social assets in 5–10 working days.

Who handles editing and post-production?

Post-production is delivered by Hermes Digital, our co-located commercial production and marketing partner. Hermes Digital edits in Adobe Creative Suite, handling audio editing, video cuts, mastering, audiograms, social clips, and upload-ready content preparation. We will always confirm scope, turnaround, and pricing before any post-production work begins.

Can Hermes Digital help with wider marketing?

Yes. If you need more than a recording — campaign production, paid social creative, content strategy, website or landing page work, or ongoing marketing support — Hermes Digital can take the handoff from your studio session. Speak to us at booking or after your session and we will introduce the right team.

How many people can record at once?

Accepted Answer

Both studio sets accommodate up to 4 people — perfect for a host plus 3 guests. If you need more capacity for a larger production, please contact us to discuss options.

What are the session times?

Accepted Answer

Half-day sessions run from 09:00 to 13:00 (4 hours). Full-day sessions run from 09:00 to 17:00 (8 hours). Both include a technical induction and setup time. Contact us if you need a bespoke session length.

Is Folkestone easy to reach from London?

Yes. Folkestone Central has direct trains from London St Pancras — the journey takes around an hour. The studio is a 6-minute walk from Folkestone Central station. Free on-site parking is also available at Ingles Yard for those travelling by car.

Can agencies book the studio for client work?

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before your session. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.

What should I bring to my session?

Just bring any personal items you need — laptop, notes, branded materials. All recording equipment is provided and set up for you. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for your technical induction.
