What equipment is provided?

Everything you need is included: a RØDECaster Pro II mixer, 4× RØDE PodMic microphones, 4× RØDE NTH-100 headphones, Sony Alpha 6400 multi-camera video, LED ring lights, live preview monitors, and a separate control/mixing area. Just bring yourself and your content ideas.

How many people can record at once?

Both studio sets accommodate up to 4 people — perfect for a host plus 3 guests. If you need more capacity for a larger production, please contact us to discuss options.

What are the session times?

Half-day sessions run from 09:00 to 13:00 (4 hours). Full-day sessions run from 09:00 to 17:00 (8 hours). Both include a technical induction and setup time.

Is parking available?

Yes — free on-site parking is available at Ingles Yard. The studio is also a 6-minute walk from Folkestone Central railway station, with direct trains from London St Pancras.

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before your session. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.

Do you offer post-production services?

Yes — our post-production services are provided in partnership with Hermes Digital. Options range from basic audio editing to full video production with audiograms and social media clips. You can add these during booking or arrange them separately.

What should I bring to my session?

Just bring any personal items you need (laptop, notes, branded materials). All recording equipment is provided and set up for you. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for your technical induction.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Absolutely. If you have preferred microphones, cameras, or other gear, you're welcome to bring them. Our team can help integrate your equipment with the studio setup.

Revenue from studio bookings funds BVO directly — keeping the organisation self-sufficient without relying on grants or donations. That money pays for free business verification, community studio access, and skills workshops.

How quickly will I receive my files?

Accepted Answer

Raw audio and video files are available for download on the same day as your session. If you've booked post-production services, turnaround times vary by package — typically 3–5 working days for audio editing and 5–10 working days for video production.
